Recently I came up with idea to make a sweet thing during this gloomy weather and because I had some apples in my kitchen, I decided to use them and make an apple tart.
Sound a bit like autumn-thing but for me it's a classic in desserts and it's never to late to make it! Actually it turned out to be even better than apple pie (maybe because of this tasty lemon crust that killed it!).

Ingredients:
For crust:
- 1,5 cup flour
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 lemon zest
- 1 egg
- 100 grams butter
- pinch of salt
For the cream:
- 1/2 cup double cream
- 2 yolks
- 60 g sugar
For the topping:
- 4 sour apples ( sliced)
- brown sugar
- butter cubes
- 4 Tbsp marmelade ( i used peach-goji)
Method:
Put all the ingredients for the crust to food procesor and form a dough, refrigerate for 30 mins. Preheat the oven to 200 C. After this time roll it out and place into greased tart form. Next, decorate all the apples into the crust and sprinkle it with brown sugar and butter cubes. To make a cream, mix in the large bowl heavy cream, sugar and yolks. Bake for 20 mins until the sugar is changed to caramel, pour in the mixture and bake for the next 15 minutes. In the end, heat the marmelade in the small pot and spread it onto the chilled apple tart.
Bon appètit mon bien-aimé! :)
